The Corbet School Technology College

The Corbet School is a Shropshire County Council maintained secondary school located in Baschurch, Shropshire, serving an extensive rural area to the north west of Shrewsbury.

We are a foundation co-educational comprehensive 11-16 school with a very strong image and an excellent reputation. We also have a thriving community in which staff and students work together as a team to ensure high standards in a happy, productive environment.

Our designation as a specialist technology college has been used effectively to raise standards and achievement and we obtained the School Achievement Award for Improvement in 2001.

Our most recent OFSTED Report (April 2008) assessed the school as ‘OUTSTANDING’. As a result the school is currently seeking a second specialism (Languages), as it now has ‘High Performing School Status’.
